We are looking for a driven and dynamic Deputy Team Lead - Placements to support and lead end-to-end placement operations, drive client engagement, manage student readiness, and deliver impactful hiring outcomes. This role requires strong communication skills, excellent data handling abilities, and a strategic approach to employer relations and student placement.Key Responsibilities:Client Engagement & Onboarding:- Identify and onboard hiring partners aligned with programs (ACCA, CFA, etc.).- Conduct introductory calls, pitch hiring solutions (Full-time/Internship/HTD), and close mandates. Coordinate meetings, webinars, and strategic discussions with HRs and corporate stakeholders.Placement Drives & Hiring Execution:- Plan and execute on-campus/off-campus recruitment drives, ensuring smooth logistics and follow-ups. - Implement Hire-Train-Deploy (HTD) models with partner companies where applicable. - Manage end-to-end hiring execution, including CV shortlisting, interview scheduling, and offer rollouts.Student Placement & Readiness:- Oversee the complete placement cycle, from applications to final offer acceptance.- Track placement targets across programs and ensure timely closures.- Support training initiatives and pre-placement readiness (technical + soft skills).Webinars, Trainings & Seminars:- Organize placement-focused webinars, HR-led sessions, and mock interviews.- Collaborate with the learning team to align training with industry expectations.- Track and improve student engagement and participation levels.Data Management & Reporting:- Maintain accurate, real-time placement data (applications, conversions, hiring status).- Prepare weekly/monthly dashboards and share insights with internal teams.- Use Excel, Google Sheets, and data analysis tools for reporting and decision-making.- Leverage AI tools to optimize reporting and outreach strategies.Key Requirements:- 3-6 years of experience in placements & operations.- Prior exposure to EdTech, recruitment firms, or campus hiring preferred.- Strong skills in MS Excel, Google Workspace, and CRM tools.- Excellent verbal & written communication abilities.- Ability to multitask, build corporate relationships, and handle student queries effectively.- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.Preferred (Good to Have):- Experience in HTD (Hire-Train-Deploy) models.- Familiarity with AI tools for resume screening, automation, or data visualization.- Experience in managing and achieving placement performance targets.
