Job Type: Full-TimeJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced and result-driven Factory Head to lead and manage overall plant operations including Production, Quality Assurance, and Automation (PLC & SCADA systems). The ideal candidate will ensure smooth manufacturing processes, safety, cost efficiency, and timely delivery while maintaining high product quality and team discipline.Key Responsibilities:Production:
  • Oversee daily production planning, scheduling, and execution
  • Ensure achievement of production targets with optimal resource utilization
  • Implement lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement practices
  • Monitor downtime and drive efficiency improvements across lines
Quality Assurance:
  • Establish and maintain quality control procedures
  • Lead audits, inspections, and compliance processes
  • Ensure product quality meets customer and regulatory standards
  • Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for any defects
PLC & SCADA Automation:
  • Supervise and support teams handling PLC (Siemens, Allen Bradley) and SCADA systems
  • Monitor automated processes and ensure preventive maintenance of equipment
  • Troubleshoot automation issues in coordination with the engineering team
  • Lead upgrades and new line automation projects
Leadership & Administration:
  • Lead a cross-functional team of production, maintenance, quality, and logistics
  • Coordinate with purchase, HR, and top management for smooth plant functioning
  • Maintain discipline, safety, and statutory compliance on the shop floor
  • Develop KPIs and generate MIS reports for management review
Key Skills Required:
  • Strong leadership and team management
  • In-depth knowledge of production & process engineering
  • Expertise in quality systems and ISO/TS compliance
  • Hands-on understanding of PLC, SCADA, HMI, VFDs
  • Problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, reporting, and documentation
Qualifications:
  • B.E. / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering
  • Minimum 15 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with 5-8 years in a leadership role
  • Prior experience in automation-based plants is a must
