Purpose of the RoleTo ensure availability, MTTR and MTBF of all control systems in Machine Shop and Robotic lines within target. The position needs to have hands on experience on handling CNC, SPM, Robotics, AMR & AGV and PLC system, Apart from standard CNCs and PLC candidate should have hands on experience on custom built controllers like induction hardening furnaces, leak test machine, number marking machine etc. Also the role calls for having knowledge in IoT, Python, SQL & postgray DB, Linux systems. He has to handle spare management, skill development of team, generation and analysis of all maintenance parameters. The position will also be responsible to implement projects in line with SQPDCME thru capex and revenue routes. Above all, he will be responsible for ensuring safety of his own and team.Job Responsibility
  • Provision of Safe Working Conditions
  • Perform Safety Observation rounds every week for a period of 1 hour, identify the unsafe conditions & acts. Log-in the data in the system. Also identify hazardous and near-miss situations in the Shop on daily basis. Analyze and identify the root cause. Implement measures to eliminate them.
  • Control system maintenance of Engine and PE Factory
  • Maintenance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of control systems of Engine, PE and Robotic lines
  • Ensuring Preventive maintenance of machines and equipments
  • Ensuring Condition based monitoring of the machines and equipments
  • Up keeping of maintenance documentations, analysis and improvement
  • Contingency planning of machines and equipments
  • Ensuring availability of spares of equipments in case of failure
  • Ensuring availability of technical support
  • Ensuring availability of SOP and SMPs of all critical maintenance processes.
  • Optimization and standardization of spares to reduce maintenance cost
  • Implementation of Projects in line with SQPDCME
  • Implementation of projects to improve quality, productivity, availability etc.
  • Introduction of new technology to enhance above parameters
  • Obsolescence management of control systems
  • Capex project planning and implementation
  • Driving company initiatives
  • Involvement of different plant level initiatives and projects
  • Participation of different CFTs to ensure resolution of complex issues.
  • Driving division and department level initiatives
  • Human Resource Management
  • Review team’s performance and guide them for improvement
  • Mentor the My Teams. Guide them on various issues pertaining to SQDCME.

  • Education Qualifications: Degree in Engineering (Electronics or Electrical)
  • Work Experience: 5 to 7 years in Maintenance of Machine shop and Robotic lines
  • Preferred Industry: Automobile Industry / Machine tool building industry
