This includes working along with the clientele to setup framework for a Global Business Services (GBS) or Share Services Centre (SSC). Additionally, this role demands working knowledge around Performance Improvement initiatives and identify potential opportunities for performance improvements drive them. This includes techno-functional role conducting finance processes assessments, deep diving and analysing pain areas and coming up with solutions. The client base spans across industries and countries.The opportunityWe're looking for Manager with expertise in GBS/SSC Setup assignments, GBS/SSC Setup assignments, Process Assessment done for Finance and Accounting, Banking, Insurance, Wealth Asset Management or Supply Chain domain to join the global EY - Finance Consulting team. Spanish / Portuguese language knowledge
Partners with the team to deliver amazing work during the engagement while balancing overall project health
Actively reviews and explore opportunities to improve, optimize and enhance ways of working
Provide innovative and customer focused RFP and RFI responses. Provide suitable customer focused solutions which will enable EY win deals.
Provides status communications to project and business teams
Practice development (support and participate in activities such as internal training & development, recruitment, etc.)
Own and develop our offerings and assets
Demonstrated ability to present ideas clearly and concisely; ability to prepare presentations for senior-level client stakeholders
Undertaking sales origination, including working with client teams to identify opportunities
Leverage and improve various frameworks, methodologies, solutions specific to our offerings

Your key responsibilities

Knowledge of Finance domain and FS sector and preferably a large network in this field
Experience in GBS set up activities such as activity analysis, cost baselining, Location assessment, Business case creation, Target Model design, etc.
Working knowledge of GBS / SSC setup engagements. Know-how of the Business Transition assignments and related activities
Participated in proposals, solutions and RFP / RFI responses related to our offerings and take them successfully to clients
Should be available to work on client timings as we have global client base
Experience / knowledge around finance functions or other sectors like Banking, Insurance, Wealth Asset Management, Supply Chain
This includes experience around Account Reconciliations, Journals, Transaction matching, Variance analysis, intercompany and Fixed assets accounting / management
Strong accounting skills and understands financial reports and statements
Knowledge on Financial Consolidation, Cost Allocation, Finance Planning and Budgeting Processes
Should have knowledge of activities in financial close of an organisation for month / Quarter / Annual close periods
Good Knowledge on ledger and sub-ledger systems; technical know-how of SAP ERP / HANA, Oracle GL (good to have)

Good to have experience / exposure (the below skills are an added advantage for candidates):

Translate business requirements to technical language and model (good to have)
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure
Managing / supervising teams of people on project work
Open to travel (Domestic & International)
Open to work in any shift

Skills and attributes for success

Consulting experience is a good to have
Good articulation skills are a must
Creative solutioning writing skill for Client RFPs and RFIs
IFRS or Banking or Insurance Certification is a good to have
Confident & professional communication style
Proficiency in English (oral and written)
Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences
Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations
Able to work effectively at all levels in an organization
Capability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal
Must be a team player and able to work collaboratively with and through others
Strong analytical skills as well as excellent problem-solving skills for interpreting the IFRS standards

To qualify for the role, you must have

Commerce Graduates or MBA (Finance)
Other professional degrees (like CPA, CFA, CMA) can be considered based on relevant working experience as required
10+ years of work experience in Business Transition / GBS / SSC setup activities
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills is a must

Ideally, you'll also have

Business Finance Transformation, GBS / SSC Setup
Project management skills
IFRS Implementation / IFRS Reporting Experience
Exposure to tools like ERP, HFM, Visio, ARIS, etc.
