QA Automation

• Framework Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust automated test suites for APIs, Web UI, and End-to-End integrations.
• Tooling Mastery: Build and scale automation projects from scratch using Java (REST Assured), JavaScript/TypeScript (Playwright/Cypress), or Python.
• API Excellence: Implement advanced API testing including JSON Schema validation and OpenAPI/Swagger-based testing using tools like Karate Framework or Postman/Newman.
• UI Stability: Lead the transition to modern, stable UI automation using Playwright or Selenium WebDriver for enterprise-scale applications.
• CI/CD Integration: Actively manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines to ensure automated tests are seamlessly executed within build and release workflows.

• CoP Contribution: Actively participate in and contribute to the QA Community of Practice (CoP), sharing automation learnings, patterns, and architectural best practices across the organization.
• Mentorship: Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and mentor for junior/mid-level QA engineers on automation techniques and framework usage.
• Collaboration: Partner with Product and Engineering teams to advocate for "testability" and ensure comprehensive integration coverage during the design phase.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline.
• Experience: 5–8 years of professional experience in Quality Engineering.
• Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or Python.
• Automation Stack:

• API: Proven experience with REST Assured, Karate, or similar API frameworks; using Java.
• Web UI: Hands-on expertise with Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.
• Integrations: Deep understanding of End-to-End testing in microservices environments.
• Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to identify automation coverage gaps and propose scalable technical solutions.
• Soft Skills: Comfortable managing high-complexity projects and delivering quality under tight timelines.
