QA EngineerLocation: AhmedabadExperience:4–8 yearsJob Overview:We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our night shift operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our systems, including customer support tools (Freshdesk), search and analytics platforms (OpenSearch), and databases (MongoDB and Dgraph). This role requires hands-on experience in functional, regression, and API testing, as well as a basic understanding of NoSQL systems and graph databases.Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform manual and automated testing on web applications, APIs, and backend systems.
  • Create, maintain, and execute detailed test cases, test plans, and bug reports.
  • Work closely with the support team to reproduce, investigate, and escalate production issues raised via Freshdesk tickets.
  • Validate search accuracy and performance in OpenSearch.
  • Verify data consistency and integrity in MongoDB and Dgraph environments.
  • Monitor nightly builds, conduct smoke/sanity checks, and ensure timely reporting of issues.
  • Participate in nightly deployment verifications and post-release testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, DevOps, and customer success.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing.
  • Experience testing and validating APIs using Postman or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with Freshdesk or similar ticketing/support platforms.
  • Working knowledge of OpenSearch/Elasticsearch, understanding of query validation and search response accuracy.
  • Basic querying and validation skills in MongoDB and Dgraph.
  • Understanding of JSON, logs, and backend data flows.
  • Experience working in night shifts or supporting international time zones.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Knowledge of JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent test management tools.
Nice to Have:
  • Exposure to automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress).
  • Scripting knowledge (Python, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins/GitHub Actions.
  • Experience in a SaaS or B2B product environment.
