- Respond to phone calls and emails from clients, providing exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Process booking order requests accurately with carriers, NVOCC's. confirm bookings and follow up on required documents.
- Review and check all order requests before processing.
- Dealing with carriers, NVOCC for commercial procurement
- Assist in drafting quotes, following up on proposals, and maintaining positive business relationships with clients.
- Provide ocean, Air freight rate quotations to customers and manage rate sheets.
- Support the sales team in achieving targets by identifying sales opportunities and following up on leads.
- Utilize market knowledge to identify sales opportunities.
- Research and analyze competitive and industry trends.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Coordinate sales efforts with team members and other departments
- Handle administrative tasks such as invoicing, quotation, and documentation.
- Manage and build long-term relationships with carriers and other stakeholders
- Any Graduate degree.
- Certifications related to logistics and freight forwarding can be an added advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with Freight forwarding industry
- Strong communication skills, proficiency in sales management software, and the ability to negotiate and close deals.
- Knowledge of rate management processes and reading carrier rate sheets.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications and IT systems used in logistics.
