With a commitment to sustainability, Adani WTGs deliver efficient and reliable energy solutions, contributing to clean power generation across global markets.Job Purpose:The Engineer - Plant QA (Electrical) (QA N&H) performs detailed inspections and testing of electrical components within nacelle and hub assemblies, ensuring compliance with quality standards. This role monitors assembly processes, validates supplier components, and assists in diagnosing electrical failures. The position maintains accurate documentation, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and provides training to QA inspectors, enhancing the overall quality of electrical systems in turbine operations.Responsibilities:Electrical Inspection and Testing

Perform detailed inspections of electrical components in nacelle and hub assemblies, including control panels, wiring harnesses, and power electronics.
Conduct electrical tests such as hipot testing, continuity checks, and insulation resistance measurements to validate component quality.

Supplier Electrical Parts Validation

Inspect incoming electrical components from suppliers, verifying adherence to the standards, drawings and specifications. voltage, current, and insulation specifications critical for turbine operation.
Report non-conformities to the lead electrical QA engineer and assist in implementing corrective actions with suppliers.

Support Failure Analysis and Diagnostics

Assist in diagnosing electrical failures using tools such as oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and thermal cameras to identify faults and performance issues.
Support root cause analysis efforts and collaborate with the QA lead to develop corrective action plans for electrical issues.

Documentation and Compliance

Maintain accurate records of inspection activities, including test data, electrical diagrams, and corrective action reports.
Ensure compliance with electrical standards such as IEC 60364 (Electrical Installations) and internal QA protocols for nacelle and hub components.

Continuous Improvement Participation

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality and reliability of electrical assemblies in nacelle and hub production.
Provide feedback on inspection findings and collaborate with production teams to implement process improvements.

Training and Knowledge Enhancement

Assist in training new QA inspectors on electrical testing methods and the use of diagnostic equipment specific to wind turbine electrical systems.
Engage in ongoing learning to stay updated on the latest electrical standards and testing technologies in the wind energy sector.

Safety Compliance and Best Practices

Adhere to electrical safety standards, including proper lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and safe handling of high-voltage components.
Ensure that all inspection activities are conducted in accordance with safety regulations and company policies.

Qualifications:Educational Background:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.

Work Experience:

6+ years of experience in electrical inspections and quality testing.

Industry Knowledge:

Proficiency in electrical testing methods, diagnostic tools, and standards compliance.
