With its tires, Continental makes a significant contribution to safe, efficient and environmentally friendly mobility.Job DescriptionFor our IT Competence Center for Research and Development we are looking for a highly dedicated Teamcenter Developer to join our strong and motivated team in Bengaluru, India.Teamcenter is a widely used tool for product data management. It serves as the main framework within IT CC R&D for developing applications that support processes such as tire and material specification, mold specification, and digital solutions.To meet Continental's business needs, a significant amount of customization has been implemented on top of the standard Teamcenter product. This position is essential to address the growing demand for Teamcenter customization and upgrade projects. Additionally, it ensures that the expertise gained in Teamcenter remains within the department and is effectively shared across the team.Responsibility
Teamcenter Development
Implement solutions for Teamcenter server side customization based on requirements.
Write design documents for the Teamcenter-based implementation.
Teamcenter Upgrades/Migration
Support application teams in Teamcenter upgrades.
Assist application teams in migrating Teamcenter clients from RAC to Active Workspace.
Projects
Participate as a team member in IT software projects using the Teamcenter platform.
Support project teams by sharing expertise on Teamcenter customization.
Identify and propose optimizations for existing Teamcenter customizations.
Trainings
Ensure that the knowledge gained from Teamcenter implementation is transferred to internal application teams.Skills RequiredTechnical Expertise:

Teamcenter Server-Side Customization: Expert-level proficiency in ITK, C, C++, and BMIDE-based coding for backend development and integration.
BMIDE Configuration: Advanced experience in configuring Teamcenter data models, business rules, and templates using BMIDE.
Teamcenter Modules: Advanced knowledge of core modules including Organization, Workflow Designer, Access Manager, Query Builder, and PLMXML/TCXML.
Client-Side Customization: Basic familiarity with customizing Teamcenter Rich Client (RAC) and Active Workspace using Java, JavaScript, and HTML.
Software Engineering Fundamentals: Basic understanding of software development principles, version control, and testing methodologies.

Additional Skills:

Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Good communication skills for technical documentation and stakeholder interaction.

QualificationsQualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience in Teamcenter customization and implementation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Teamcenter upgrades and migrations.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
