- Lead Generation: Identify and target potential customers through research, networking, and outreach efforts to generate new business opportunities within the AWS ecosystem.
- Sales Engagement: Conduct outbound and inbound sales activities, including calls, emails, and virtual meetings, to engage with prospects and qualify their needs.
- Solution Selling: Understand customer pain points and business requirements to recommend appropriate AWS cloud solutions and services.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Manage and maintain an active pipeline of opportunities, track progress, and report on sales activities and forecasts.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the AWS Solutions Architects, Customer Success Managers, and other internal teams to ensure seamless delivery and support of AWS solutions.
- Customer Education: Provide insights and information about AWS services, pricing models, and best practices to help customers make informed decisions.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and close deals in alignment with company policies and objectives.
- Account Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within customer organizations to drive long-term growth.
- Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging AWS technologies to effectively position and sell AWS solutions.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in inside sales, preferably in the cloud computing or technology sector. Experience with AWS or other cloud platforms is highly desirable.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Skills:
- Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and sales automation platforms.
- Knowledge of AWS cloud services, pricing, and deployment models is a plus. Candidates with Datacentre experience can also apply.
