Acting as the founding Unity engineer, you'll lead a talented international team, contributing to the architectural strategy and scalability of high-impact science simulations and cutting-edge learning tools for students worldwide. Responsibilities As a Unity Engineer, you will: Build cross-platform multiplayer applications (VR, web, mobile) on Unity. Collaborate with a diverse team to create scalable science simulations. Lead architectural strategy for complex implementations. Develop software solutions, collaborating with peers and R&D. Provide technical advice, support, and troubleshooting. Lead a team of international Unity developers. Qualifications What Skills Do You Need to Succeed Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Solid understanding of core engineering principles and computer science concepts. Proficient in Unity, with a focus on environment setup, game physics, and real-time physics. Experience in project planning, debugging, and optimization. Proficient with Git and code versioning tools. Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to take ownership of complex projects. Previous experience with ads-related third-party libraries, APIs, and architecture. Ability to work with legacy systems. Nice to have BA/BS Degree in Game Development, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related degree (and/or a strong portfolio of relevant projects as a substitute to a formal degree) Strong knowledge of data-oriented design with OOP Experience developing a 'creator platform' in Unity Experience building custom editors, inspectors, and tooling within Unity in a professional product
