Title: Sr Unity Game Developer (Mobile) Location: Bengaluru (INDIA); On-site (Initially remote until we finalise our office space in Bengaluru) Job Description: Company Overview Kinexcs is an AI-driven digital health platform and wearables company with a mission to enable and empower people for mobility and a better quality of life. It is focused on reducing the burden of musculoskeletal conditions, which affects about 25% of the world's population. Their flagship product, KIMIA Recover, a continuous monitoring device for the knee joint, has obtained FDA Approval, CE marking and HSA approval, and booked revenues from large implant companies and hospitals. It has recently won the Johnson and Johnson Quickfire Challenge Award, Innomatch grant by the Temasek Foundation (one of the 6 among 256 companies across 32 countries) and is currently deployed in some of the largest public hospitals in Singapore. 1.) Game Development Leadership: Lead the technical development of gamified exercises, ensuring projects are completed on schedule and meet Kinexcs' high standards for quality and user engagement Serve as the primary point of contact for all game development queries 2.) Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers to understand the vision and requirements for each gamified exercise, translating these into actionable development plans Partner with UI/UX and Game designers to ensure game interfaces are intuitive, accessible, and aligned with best practices in user experience design Liaise with embedded electronics engineers to integrate games seamlessly with Kinexcs' wearable devices, facilitating accurate tracking of users' movements and activities Engage with other developers to foster a collaborative development environment, sharing knowledge and assisting with problem-solving across projects 3.) Quality Assurance and Maintenance: Implement rigorous unit testing protocols to identify and rectify bugs, glitches, or any other issues that could impact game performance or user experience Regularly update game content and features based on user feedback and clinical recommendations, ensuring the product remains relevant and effective for rehabilitation Maintain and optimize existing game codebase for scalability, performance, and future development needs 4.) Best Practices and Innovation: Ensure adherence to coding best practices, including code reviews, version control, and documentation, to maintain a high-quality codebase Stay abreast of the latest trends in mobile game development, wearable technology, and digital health to continuously innovate and improve Kinexcs' gamified exercises Requirements/Qualifications MS/Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other related engineering field 5+ years experience in cross-platform mobile game development and programming [Note: share portfolio when applying] Proficient in Unity and C# Proven track record of working in agile teams with a focus on rapid deployments Proficient in spoken and written English You will shine in this role if You have some experience working in startups or fast-paced teams You are self-driven and a great team player You have direct experience integrating mobile games with medical wearable devices/IoT technologies
