Job DescriptionRegional Manager - Prescription / Solution Selling (Electrical Products) - BangaloreCompany: Havells India Ltd.Location: Bangalore, KarnatakaReporting To: National Sales Head - Enterprise / Zonal Business HeadIndustry Preference: Electrical / FMEG / Building Materials / Project SalesExperience Required: 12-18 YearsRole OverviewThe role is responsible for driving prescription-led growth and solution selling across key stakeholders including consultants, architects, MEP consultants, electrical contractors, developers, and institutional clients in Bangalore.The incumbent will focus on influencing product specifications at design stage, enabling enterprise business growth across categories such as Wires, Switchgear, Lighting, Cables, and other Electrical Solutions.This is a high-impact role requiring strong technical understanding, relationship management skills, and project-selling expertise.Key Result Areas (KRAs)1. Specification & Prescription Development- Drive brand specification at consultant and architect level.- Ensure product approvals in BOQs and tender documents.- Build strong engagement with MEP consultants and design firms.- Increase specification-to-order conversion ratio.2. Solution Selling - Integrated Electrical Portfolio- Position integrated electrical solutions rather than single-product selling.- Promote cross-category synergy (Wires + Switchgear + Lighting).- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations.- Provide techno-commercial proposals aligned to project needs.3. Enterprise & Project Business Development- Identify large real estate, commercial, infrastructure, and industrial projects.- Map developers, EPC contractors, and institutional buyers.- Drive early-stage engagement for project pipeline creation.- Track project lifecycle from design to execution.4. Influencer & Key Stakeholder Management- Develop strong relationships with:- Architects- MEP Consultants- Electrical Consultants- Contractors & Developers- Conduct seminars, product workshops, and technical meets.5. Revenue & Pipeline Management- Deliver project revenue targets for Bangalore region.- Maintain robust project pipeline tracker.- Forecast business conversion timelines accurately.6. Cross-Functional Coordination- Work closely with Trade Sales team for order execution.- Coordinate with Marketing for technical collateral & brand initiatives.- Partner with Supply Chain for project delivery timelines.7. Competitive Intelligence- Monitor competitor specifications and consultant influence.- Track pricing trends and solution offerings.- Develop counter-strategies for large project wins.Candidate ProfileExperience:- 12-18 years of experience in Electrical Project Sales / Specification Selling / Enterprise Sales.- Strong exposure to Bangalore real estate & infrastructure ecosystem.- Experience in handling consultants and institutional sales.Skills & Competencies:- Strong technical knowledge of electrical products.- Excellent presentation and influencing skills.- Relationship-building with consultants & decision-makers.- Strategic thinking with strong follow-through.- Strong negotiation & commercial acumen.Education:- B.E. / B.Tech (Electrical preferred) + MBA (Preferred).- Graduate degree mandatory.
