- Conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs) and Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs).
- Supporting the development, implementation, and maintenance of data privacy policies and procedures.
- Providing subject-matter expertise to business units on privacy and data protection matters.
- Monitoring and responding to Data Subject Access Requests (DSARs).
- Coordinating with IT, Legal, HR, and other functions on data privacy, security initiatives, and contracts.
- Maintaining records of processing activities as per Article 30 of GDPR.
- Participating in audits, regulatory reporting, and privacy compliance reviews.
- Supporting training and awareness programs on data privacy best practices.
- Staying updated with evolving global data protection regulations and advising stakeholders accordingly.
- 8-12 years of overall professional experience, with at least 5+ years in a data privacy or compliance role.
- Strong knowledge of data protection laws and regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and HIPAA.
- Professional certifications such as CIPP/E or CIPM are preferred.
- Experience working with privacy management platforms is an added advantage.
- Solid understanding of information security principles and their intersection with data privacy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder management abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Security, Computer Science, or a related field; a master's degree or legal background is a plus.
