- Infrastructure Management: Assist in managing AWS resources including EC2, RDS, S3, and VPC configurations.
- Configuration Management: Utilize Chef to automate server provisioning and maintain consistency across environments.
- Web Server Administration: Configure and optimize Nginx for high-performance PHP-FPM application delivery.
- CI/CD Pipeline Support: Maintain and monitor deployment pipelines to ensure stable code releases for our PHP applications.
- Monitoring & Logging: Use CloudWatch and other native tools to monitor system health and proactively identify performance bottlenecks.
- Security & Compliance: Implement best practices for IAM roles, security groups, and encryption-at-rest.
- Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate (SAA-C03). You should be comfortable designing resilient, high-performing, and cost-optimized architectures.
- Cloud Platforms: Hands-on experience with AWS core services (VPC, Route 53, ELB, Auto Scaling).
- Linux Systems: Proficiency with the Linux command line (Ubuntu/CentOS) and shell scripting.
- Web Stacks: Experience configuring Nginx and understanding how PHP applications interact with the web server.
- Automation: Exposure to Configuration Management tools like Chef or Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/CloudFormation).
- Version Control: Solid understanding of Git workflows.
