Develop short and long-term supply and demand models that seek to minimize total costs and inventories while maintaining/improving service levels. Establish and utilize best methods (statistical models, processes and software tools) in evaluating supply chain’s ability to meet customer demand.
Lead demand and supply planning meetings with cross-functional teams, reviewing supply, demand risks, mitigation options, or service level goals. Develop and implement inventory control strategies to minimize costs and optimize inventory levels while meeting customer service goals.
Present inventory recommendations to leadership, drive decision-making, and ensure clear communication with stakeholders across the supply chain.
Own safety stock optimization, inventory projections, metrics, and reporting for leadership reviews, including leading forums to discuss inventory initiatives and performance.
