- Aggregate enterprise-wide volumes to maximize purchasing power and achieve cost efficiencies.
- Lead the strategies to negotiate and/or renegotiate major service contracts, ensuring favourable terms and high service standards. Strong negotiation skills are desired for the role
- Benchmark current and historical spend levels to identify savings opportunities and improve procurement practices.
- Organize spend into key categories, developing tailored strategies for each.
- Determine and implement global or regional category strategies to align with business objectives.
- Identify strategic partnering opportunities with suppliers to drive innovation and value.
- Recommend new commercial structures, including rebates, volume discounts, reverse auctions, and incentivized service level agreements (etc…).
- Develop and execute global procurement strategies, policies, systems, and procedures aligned with Global Supply Chain and Global Technology organizational goals.
- Analyze market trends and forecast procurement needs to support the business proactively.
- Build and maintain relationships with key global suppliers, ensuring quality and reliability.
- Monitor supplier performance and address issues to maintain high standards.
- Support the purchase-to-pay process to ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments to support cross-functional initiatives.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for procurement activities.
- Spend management and analysis, segmentation of suppliers and commodities informing new relationships at the strategic or critical level.
- Analyse current work practices to identify areas for improvement and with improvements to operating, technical, and administrative processes.
- Contribute to delivering a robust governance structure, aligned to the contractual commitments with Worley and its suppliers, and encouraging appropriate innovation, development, and continuous improvement
- Gain support from the regional supply chain leadership to have complete visibility of spend under management and its reporting.
- Accountable for identifying and coordinating execution of appropriate corrective actions to be taken if operational performance of the supply is unsatisfactory.
- Provide input into and influence the development of the overall sourcing strategy.
- Build collaborative working relationships with the Supply Chain Regional management teams
- Contribute to building stronger relationships with key customers throughout Worley.

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
- Min 15 years of relevant years of experience of handling Global Corporate Procurement in lead orsub-lead capacity.
- Self-starter with analytical skills, able to identify problems and opportunities, assess viable solutions, develop and execute complex projects and action plans.
- Expected to proactively define and drive Global and regional supply chain initiatives aligned with global supply chain business objective.
- The role is accountable for shaping and executing supply chain strategy, embedding best-in-class processes, and ensuring delivery certainty across complex, geographically dispersed teams.
- Ensuring that Worley standards for processes, tools, and systems are correctly utilized.
- Sound knowledge of Corporate Procurement, commercial and bidding strategies, material management, risk management, closeout, and supplier performance reviews.
- Ability to work with other cultures, disciplines, management, contractors, and suppliers in a functional support and team role.
- Strong personal work ethic and standards, assuming responsibility and accepting accountability for successful obtainment of goals and objectives.
- Effective interpersonal and communications skills, ability to lead multi discipline teams across diverse geographies.
- An enthusiasm to establish/maintain an ‘industry awareness’ of trends in supply chain management.
- Able to solve problem and facilitate solutions to disagreements.
- An analytical mind with strategic ability.

- Proficient in SCM platforms and tools.
