Leadership role Meritocratic Culture Job Description Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and guidance to the Board and executive leadership team, leveraging your deep understanding of the renewables industry and market dynamics. Governance and Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best corporate governance practices, while upholding the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and transparency. Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with the company's operations, investments, and strategic initiatives, while safeguarding the interests of shareholders and stakeholders. Financial Oversight: Review and evaluate financial performance, budgets, and financial reports to ensure sound fiscal management and accountability. Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a liaison between the Board, management, shareholders, and other key stakeholders, fostering effective communication, trust, and collaboration. Board Effectiveness: Participate actively in Board meetings, committees, and strategic discussions, offering informed perspectives and constructive feedback to enhance Board effectiveness and decision-making. Performance Evaluation: Facilitate regular performance evaluations of the Board, its committees, and individual Directors, to promote continuous improvement and accountability. Advisory Role: Serve as a trusted advisor to the Chairman, CEO, and senior leadership team, offering guidance on key strategic initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, capital allocation, and risk management. The Successful Applicant Proven track record of leadership and accomplishment in the renewable energy sector, with significant experience at the executive or board level. In-depth knowledge of the Indian renewables market, including regulatory frameworks, industry trends, and competitive dynamics. Strong understanding of corporate governance principles, boardroom dynamics, and fiduciary responsibilities. Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex business challenges and opportunities. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences effectively.
