Role overview :Experience : 5-6 years (minimum) in social media/content, preferably in mutual funds/asset management services.Function : Own the monthly and quarterly social media content calendar and campaigns across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, X/Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, etc.), in line with brand, product, and investor education priorities, and deliver regular performance reports.Key responsibilities :- Plan, build, and maintain the monthly and quarterly social media content calendar aligned to product priorities, campaigns, and investor awareness/IAP themes for mutual funds.- Plan and execute quarterly 360- campaigns for key mutual fund products and Investor Awareness Programs (IAP), from brief and concept to execution and post-campaign review.- Lead end-to-end coordination for these campaigns across internal teams (product, content, design, legal/compliance, sales) and external partners (creative/digital agencies, media, event/activation teams), ensuring timelines, deliverables, and approvals are met.- Brief, coordinate with, and manage creative/digital agencies for social media creatives, videos, and copies; review and refine creatives for platform formats and brand/regulatory guidelines.- Work closely with product managers, content writers, brand, and compliance to ensure accuracy, consistency, and timely delivery of all posts and campaign assets.- Track daily execution of the calendar, ensuring posts go live as per schedule and maintaining clear trackers/reports for all platforms.- Create and maintain weekly and monthly reports for all social media platforms, capturing key metrics such as reach, impressions, engagement, follower growth, clicks, and video performance.- Build and update campaign-wise and IAP-wise dashboards/trackers to monitor delivery against defined KPIs, spends, and timelines.- Present monthly and quarterly performance reports and insights to internal stakeholders (marketing, product, senior management), highlighting what worked, what did not, and clear recommendations for the next month/quarter.- Monitor competitor mutual fund brands' social media activities, identify trends and white spaces, and regularly recommend new formats, series, and ideas (reels, carousels, explainer videos, contests, live sessions, etc.).- Use platform and third-party analytics tools to track performance and feed learning into future calendars and campaigns.- Ensure all communication is accurate, compliant with regulatory requirements, and aligned with brand tonality for mutual fund and investor education content.- Stay updated on platform changes, content trends, AMFI/SEBI communication norms, and best practices in financial services/mutual fund marketing, and proactively test relevant new features and formats.Required experience and skills :- 5-6 years of hands-on experience managing brand social media pages and content calendars, ideally for mutual funds, wealth management, AMCs, brokers, or investment/fintech products.- Strong understanding of mutual fund concepts (fund categories, SIPs, asset classes, risk/return, suitability) and ability to work comfortably with product and compliance teams on investor-facing content.- Proven experience in briefing agencies, reviewing and optimizing creatives, and adapting content for different platforms (static, carousels, stories, reels/shorts, long-form video, live sessions).- Strong analytical and reporting skills, with experience using platform analytics to build monthly reports, dashboards, and management-friendly summaries.- Ability to track competition and category trends, interpret data, and translate insights into specific content ideas and campaign concepts.- Familiarity with social media and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn analytics, YouTube Studio, basic dashboards/UTM tracking).- Strong coordination and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines simultaneously.- Good sense of copy and visual communication, with the ability to suggest hooks, angles, and formats even when working with a dedicated content writer/design team.Preferred background- Prior experience in a mutual fund company- Exposure to investor awareness programs (IAPs), investor education content, and product campaigns in the financial domain.- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-compliance environment with frequent collaboration across marketing, product, sales, and external partners.- Graduation/post-graduation in Finance, Economics, Commerce, or an MBA/PGDM with specialisation in Marketing or Finance, given the mutual fund context (ref:updazz.com)
