We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead sales operations within the assigned territory. The ASM will be responsible for achieving sales targets, managing channel partners/distributors, developing business opportunities, and ensuring excellent customer satisfaction while aligning with company strategies.Key Responsibilities- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned area.- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to maximize revenue growth.- Identify, appoint, and manage distributors, dealers, and channel partners.- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends to recommend business strategies.- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.- Train, motivate, and support the sales team to achieve individual and team goals.- Conduct regular market visits to assess territory performance and gather customer feedback.- Ensure timely collection of payments and adherence to credit policies.- Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and MIS to senior management.- Coordinate with marketing, operations, and supply chain teams for smooth execution of sales plans.Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Marketing/Engineering (MBA preferred).- 4-8 years of proven experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role (industry-specific if needed, e.g., FMCG, Manufacturing, Electrical, etc.).- Strong knowledge of territory management, channel sales, and business development.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
