JOB DESCRIPTION Job Summary If you are looking for an opportunity in End-to-End Project Management & execution, Emerson has this exciting role for you! The Project Manager will be a member of Operations team and will be responsible for delivering the Project optimally by managing the Project from Design till commissioning and Handover. You will be the SPOC for customer & will be supporting Customers for PLC, SCADA and DCS based automation projects. In this Role , Your Responsibilities Will Be: Attend KOM with Client, along with the Project team to Discuss and freeze the Scope / Schedule. Take the Project Handover from sales and understand the Project requirements and expectations thoroughly. Should be conversant with Commercial terms and conditions mentioned in customer PO and can identify & address the Risks associated with the Contract. Discuss with Engineering Manager and his team to prepare the technical risks and Risk Management Plan (RMP). To ensure PM Processes are followed as per Emerson standards / Project requirements. Work closely with the Engineering manager & Project Lead for timely execution of the projects as per the project timelines. Collaborate with Cross-functional teams to ensure the Project objectives are met (Cost, Schedule, Profitability, Quality). Handle project financial performance, including budgets, GPs, ETCs, EACs. Monitors Project Progress & reports the Project performance to Customer on regular basis. Participate in Project reviews with Leadership, give the forecast for Budget, share Areas of Concern, and seek help where vital. Identifies Change in Scope, document, work with Sales team and customer to book change orders. Focus on understanding customer needs and resolving problems for customer happiness. Participate, guide and/or lead resolution of technical / commercial issues for projects under execution & ensure robust, timely completion of issues impacting Project. Travel to site, as required to tackle technical issue or lead commissioning activities in critical projects. Become familiar and Comply Emerson's HSE policies. Who You Are: You serve as a subject matter expertise to build, grow, and maintain profitable and long-lasting relationships with key customers/accounts. You must possess ability to adapt to real-time to rapidly changing environments. You make significant progress and remains calm and composed, even when things are uncertain. You observe situational and group dynamics and effectively connect with all levels of the organization. For This Role, You Will Need: Minimum 4-5 years of Project Management experience, Preferably in Control Systems field (SCADA, PLC, DCS, VFD). Knowledge on various verticals like Infra, Power, Water, Metal, Oil & Gas Industries Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to energize and empower teams in a dynamic environment. Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: Bachelor's degree or any equivalent in Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Computer Engineering, Automation Engineering or any related field Proficient in MS Projects, MS Office, SAP PMP or equivalent will be an added advantage.
