Job Description Zycus is looking out for passionate Linux Professionals with a Experience of about 3-6 years having a hands-on experience in Linux and having good understanding of Samba, CentOS, RHEL and other Linux flavors on AWS cloud Core responsibilities of this position are: Provides expert level Tier 1 technical infrastructure support services for issues elevated from the Support Center and other Technical Services groups. Ensures reliable operation of production. Diagnoses and troubleshoots availability interruptions and other production issues. Implements new technologies and major releases for the most critical enterprise-wide IT infrastructure projects. Tests, installs, and migrates software, patches, upgrades, proxies, applications, and/or hardware. Maintains, monitors, and tunes Production system and applications performance. Performs capacity planning activities. Writes documentation, installation procedures, and troubleshooting tips. Adds, updates, and closes IT Problem Management database records. Researches and resolves the issues, and reviews related technology records to mitigate impact on assigned system. Reviews numerous IT knowledge repositories to update technical knowledge. Thoroughly understands and complies with IT policies and procedures, especially those for quality and productivity standards that enable the team to meet established client service levels. Thoroughly understands and complies with Information Security policies and procedures. Job Requirement What will you require to be successful in this role: Redhat certified / trained professional Should be able to manage Linux OS (RHEL or CentOS) and service like Samba, Apache, Iptables, SFTP & FTP Knowledge in scripting using any of Bash/Shell/python/ruby. Good understanding of Network, DNS. Good knowledge of Linux server security and Backup. Should be able to plan an execute IT projects/tasks independently. Good team player. GOOD TO HAVE: CCNA / MCSA / Red Hat Certifications Understanding of Saas, AWS, Production Support, ITIL Nice to have knowledge of Windows Server administration & Troubleshooting. Nice to have knowledge in Network (Switches, Router & Firewall )
