This role plays a crucial part in managing financial planning, budgeting, and strategic decision-making to optimize financial performance and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include conducting financial analysis, preparing reports for stakeholders, evaluating investment opportunities, and managing financial risks.Responsibilities:Financial Planning and Analysis:Develop annual budgets and financial forecasts aligned with business goals and market conditions.Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.Financial Reporting and Compliance:Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in accordance with regulatory requirements.Coordinate with auditors during audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.Capital Budgeting and Investment Analysis:Evaluate potential investments and capital projects based on financial analysis and risk assessment.Prepare business cases and financial models to support investment decisions.Financial Risk Management:Conduct risk assessments to identify potential financial risks such as liquidity, interest rate, and currency risks.Develop and implement risk mitigation plans and strategies, and monitor/report on financial risk metrics to senior management and stakeholders.Strategic Financial Planning:Participate in strategic planning sessions to align financial strategies with business goals.Collaborate with senior management to develop long-term financial strategies that support business growth and profitability objectives.Key Stakeholders - Internal:Lead - Corporate FinanceKey Stakeholders - External:Prospective clients, government and regulatory bodies, Trade groupsQualifications:Educational Background:Graduate from any discipline with MBA/PG in Finance from an institute of repute recognized by UGC/AICTEWork Experience:5-7 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, strategic planning, capital budgeting, investment analysis, and financial reporting within relevant industries such as Ports and SEZ operations.
