As a Lead Datacentre Strategist, you will play a key role in crafting the datacentre vision, driving perfection in datacentre decisions, optimization, design and management, and ensuring our datacentre infrastructure remains at the forefront of operations!Qualifications:
15 years of established expertise in enterprise datacentre management, with a track record of delivering successful datacentre strategies and projects.
Experience or equivalent in computer science, information technology, electrical engineering, data science, or a related field.
Tangible experience in leading and working with driven teams.
Deep technical understanding in datacentre technologies, including server infrastructure, storage systems, networking, virtualization, and cloud computing.
Ability to develop and implement datacentre strategies that align with business goals.
Excellent communicator and personable, collaborate reliably with all colleagues and partners.
Project management experience with a focus on delivering projects on time and within budget.
In-depth knowledge of relevant datacenter trends, practices, management and infrastructure.
Roles and ResponsibilitiesStrategic Development:
Lead strategic development for LSEG’s data centre portfolio.
Develop a multi-year program for rationalization and optimization of the estate.
Create detailed reviews and recommendations for specific projects and portfolio clusters at the site, market, or regional level.
Transaction Management:
Lead transactions related to data centre renewals, acquisitions, and expiries.
Develop timelines and execution plans for portfolio changes.
Coordinate the administration of contracts.
Performance Tracking:
Develop and drive Key Performance Indicators (critical metrics) to understand the performance.
Support financial analysis vital for portfolio transitions.
Service Management:
Provide strategic development services to ensure efficient use of data centre resources.
Deliver transaction management and delivery services to facilitate smooth operations.
Handle acquisition services to support the growth and adaptation of the data centre portfolio.
