This role leads end-to-end logistics operations including heavy equipment mobilisation, fleet management, and vendor coordination for large-scale projects. The position requires strong expertise in abnormal load transport, customs clearance, and logistics cost optimization.Reporting to the COO, you will:

Lead end-to-end logistics operations including equipment mobilisation, fleet management, and vendor coordination.
Plan and execute route surveys, abnormal load permits, convoy arrangements, and mobilisation timelines.
Manage heavy equipment movement across project sites, yards, and operational locations.
Develop and maintain a panel of approved transport vendors, crane operators, and logistics partners.
Ensure compliance with insurance, regulatory permits, and vendor documentation requirements.
Oversee import clearances for rigs, drilling equipment, and capital goods with customs brokers.
Manage transit insurance coverage, claims, and documentation for equipment movement.
Implement route safety assessments and maintain logistics incident reporting with root cause analysis.
Lead GPS-based vehicle tracking, fleet utilization monitoring, and driver behavior analysis.
Develop fuel management systems including mileage tracking and cost-per-km benchmarking.
Track logistics costs including freight, crane hire, personnel transport, and fuel against project budgets.
Maintain full audit trails for logistics documentation including permits, weighbridge records, and gate passes.

15+ yrs' exp. in heavy equipment logistics & project mobilisationProven leader managing fleet ops, vendors & logistics cost optimization

Holds a B.E. in Mechanical / Civil / Logistics or an MBA in Operations / Supply Chain.
Brings strong experience in heavy equipment logistics, abnormal load transport, and project mobilisations.
Demonstrates expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and logistics cost control.
Familiar with customs clearance, EPCG/ATA Carnet documentation, and international shipments.
Strong leader with experience managing logistics teams and cross-functional coordination with project teams.
Data-driven with strong capabilities in fleet management systems and operational reporting.
