Job Description:Job PurposeThe Electrical Engineer is responsible for the design, development, and execution of electrical systems and equipment in compliance with project requirements, industry codes, and safety standards. The role involves coordination with multidisciplinary teams to ensure reliable, cost-effective, and sustainable electrical solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electrical systems, layouts, and specifications for projects.Prepare single line diagrams (SLD), schematics, load calculations, and equipment sizing.Ensure compliance with relevant standards and codes (IEC, IS, IEEE, NEC, etc.).Review vendor drawings, technical documents, and equipment specifications.Support procurement by preparing technical requisitions and evaluating vendor offers.Coordinate with civil, mechanical, instrumentation, and project teams for interfaces.Conduct power system studies (short circuit, load flow, relay coordination, etc.) using analysis software.Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.Ensure project deliverables meet quality, safety, and schedule requirements.Prepare technical reports, documentation, and participate in design / client reviews. Qualifications & Requirements:Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).3–8 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering within EPC, oil & gas, power, industrial, or infrastructure projects.Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and best practices.Proficiency in electrical design tools (ETAP, AutoCAD, EPLAN, or equivalent).Experience with 3D modeling tools (SP3D, E3D, or similar) is an advantage.Strong understanding of electrical equipment such as transformers, switchgear, motors, cables, and control systems.Experience in site support, testing, and commissioning preferred.
