As a BA BD Specialist, you will be responsible for analysing new business and product ideas, conducting competitive market analysis, providing data-driven insights, and delivering key reports to support critical business decisions. You will also lead business development efforts, identifying growth opportunities, building client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of the organisation's growth strategies.Key Responsibilities:- Analyse business processes, product ideas, and market opportunities to identify potential areas for growth and improvement.- Conduct competitive analysis to assess market trends, industry benchmarks, and competitor strategies.- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.- Develop business cases and executive summaries for new projects and initiatives.- Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards using data analysis tools and techniques.- Perform risk analysis and mitigation planning.- Lead the business development initiatives of the organisation, identifying new business opportunities, partnerships, and client relationships.- Create and implement strategies to drive revenue growth, market share, and long-term profitability.- Develop proposals, presentations, and sales pitches for prospective clients and investors.- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and partners.- Negotiate contracts, close deals, and manage client accounts.Required Skills & Qualifications:- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related fields. Master's degree is a plus.- Experience: Proven experience in business analysis and business development, preferably in the IT industry.- Technical Skills:- Expertise in Microsoft Excel for advanced data analysis and reporting (Pivot tables, macros, VLOOKUP, etc.).- Proficiency in data visualisation tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.- Strong knowledge of business analysis tools and methodologies (e.g., SWOT analysis, PESTLE analysis).- Experience with CRM tools and sales management software.- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.- Business Acumen: Ability to understand and navigate market dynamics, assess competitive landscapes, and identify business opportunities.- Project Management: Ability to lead and manage projects from conception to execution, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.Personal Attributes:- Proactive and self-motivated with the ability to work independently.- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.- A team player with the ability to collaborate across departments.
