We are looking for a senior, hands-on international sales professional with strong US market exposure to drive outbound sales, generate pipeline, close deals, and establish a high-performing sales team in India.This is a hunter role requiring strong IC ownership initially, with responsibility to build and scale the US-focused sales function from India.Key Responsibilities:Individual Contributor (Core Responsibility):- Execute outbound prospecting (cold calls, emails, LinkedIn outreach) for US market- Drive IT services / SaaS / solution sales conversations with US customers- Own the full sales cycle: lead generation - qualification - proposal - negotiation - closure- Consistently add new logos across mid-market and enterprise customers- Maintain accurate CRM, pipeline forecasting, and reportingUS Market & Stakeholder Engagement:- Actively engage with US Directors, clients, and partners during US business hours- Understand client pain points and position technology solutions effectively- Represent the company in sales calls, demos, and negotiationsSales Strategy & Process Setup:- Define outbound sales playbooks, ICPs, messaging, and outreach strategy- Set up sales processes, tools, metrics, and reporting frameworks- Work closely with leadership to align revenue targets and growth plansTeam Setup & Leadership:- Build and mentor a US-focused sales team in India- Hire, onboard, and train SDRs / sales executives- Transition gradually from pure IC to player-coach modelRequired Skills & Experience:Must-Have:- 8+ years of experience in international IT / SaaS / solution sales- Proven exposure to US market sales (direct client interaction mandatory)- Strong experience in outbound sales and lead generation- Demonstrated success in new logo acquisition- Comfortable working in night shift (6 PM-3 AM IST)- Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills- Experience working as an Individual ContributorGood to Have:- Experience setting up or scaling inside sales teams in India- Exposure to B2B enterprise or mid-market sales- Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho, etc.)- Background in IT services, digital transformation, cloud, AI, or SaaS solutionsWorking Model & Expectations:- Night shift aligned to US business hours- Flexible coordination with India leadership during day hours when required- 9 effective working hours per day- Work from Vijayawada or Hyderabad office (ref:updazz.com)
