Develop and Maintain SAP BODS Solutions: Design, develop, document and implement ETL processes using SAP BODS with minimal supervision to support data migration, transformation, and integration requirements to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing within the team.
Production Support: Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in production environments during East USafter-hours, ensuring minimal downtime and quick resolution of technical problems.
Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis: Investigate data issues, performance problems, and job failures, performing in-depth root cause analysis to implement both immediate fixes and long-term solutions.
Optimization & Performance Tuning: Optimize BODS jobs and data processes to enhance performance and reliability, ensuring efficient data handling across multiple environments.
Collaboration with Business & Technical Teams: Liaise with business analysts, data architects, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Documentation & Reporting: Create and maintain technical documentation, including job designs, workflows, and support guidelines. Provide regular status updates and reports on production issues and system health.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and enhancements to system reliability.
Execute tasks and special projects assigned by the Team Lead or Manager.
Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.

Education and / or Training:

SAP BODS Expertise: Strong knowledge of SAP BusinessObjects Data Services, including data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) techniques.
Database Knowledge: Proficient in relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or SAP HANA, with a strong understanding of SQL query writing and performance tuning.
Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical thinking, with the ability to break down complex issues and come up with effective solutions under pressure.
Technical Communication: Ability to communicate technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Adaptability: Quick to learn new technologies and capable of working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
Proficient in various desktop tools including MS Office Programs (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, SharePoint etc.)
Additional education, certifications, or other distinctions are a plus
Introduction to Azure Cloud & .NET development is a plus

Relevant Work Experience:

4+ years experience with SAP (Data Services) BODS in an enterprise environment.
Demonstrated success in designing and implementing complex data integration solutions tailored to client needs.
Experience with database programming, data modeling, queries, and data integration, particularly using PL/SQL.
Demonstrated ability to deliver solutions through the development and implementation of best practices and tools.
