The day to day job requires the individual to make judgment-based decisions by following a standard operating procedure. This could involve tasks such as:Key job responsibilities
- Translate content from Hindi to English and perform quality audit on English translation derived from Hindi and technical audits on Asian/non-Asian language audio tracks following the Prime Video Style Guide to maintain consistency.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- C1/Native proficiency (Read, Write & Speak) in Hindi and English [test to be cleared].
- Experience with subtitling and audio-video editing and related applications/tools.
- A passion for media & entertainment and streaming services
- The ability to apply critical thinking and provide analysis while working with creative content
- Avid fan of movies and tv series.
- Experience watching foreign-language content with English subtitles.
- Experience in AV QC; working at a Post Production house
- Visual quality assurance testing of compressed video material.
- Audible quality assurance testing of encoded audio material.
- Visual quality assurance testing of subtitle (text) files.
