- Design and implement effective monitoring solutions to ensure high availability and performance of OCI resources.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and management through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using Terraform and Ansible.
- Establish governance frameworks and policies for OCI usage, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and best practices.
- Work closely with security teams to implement security best practices and audits for OCI infrastructure.
- Optimize costs and resources within the OCI environment by analyzing usage patterns and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Document processes, policies, and architecture to ensure clarity and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance operational capabilities and introduce automation workflows.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering, focusing on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or similar platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Terraform and Ansible for IaC automation.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools in OCI for proactive resource management.
- Familiarity with governance frameworks in cloud environments.
- Understanding of networking and security concepts in cloud architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- OCI certification such as OCI Architect or similar.
- Understanding of DevOps methodologies and CI/CD processes.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.
- Experience with cloud cost management and optimization strategies.
