Ensure compliance with local, national, and international environmental standards. Education: A master's degree in hydrogeology, water resource engineering or environmental engineering (with a focus on groundwater modelling or hydrogeologic processes) is preferred. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in groundwater modelling, hydrogeology, and a detailed understanding of infrastructure and environmental services. Experience in managing hydrological and hydrogeological data, developing conceptual models, and interpreting data. Demonstrated expertise in groundwater control system design. Experience conducting groundwater modelling and working with modelling programs such as FEFLOW, MODFLOW, MODPATH, MT3DMS and PREEQC. Familiarity with model processing software such as Groundwater Vistas and FEFLOW is required, although strong candidates with directly relevant experience will also be considered. Experience with mathematical software such as Python and R. Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering complex projects, including managing budgets, resources, and client expectations. Strong ability to analyse and interpret complex environmental data, identify trends, and develop actionable recommendations. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. In-depth understanding of relevant environmental regulations and guidelines, including local, national, and international standards. Professional certifications, such as P.G. (Professional Geologist), P.E. (Professional Engineer), or other relevant industry certifications, are desirable. Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams while fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment. Strong business development skills, including the ability to identify opportunities, prepare proposals, and contribute to the growth of the Site Evaluation & Restoration (SER) practice.
