Job Description :Location: KolkataDepartment: New Category DevelopmentExperience: 3+ YearsEmployment Type: Full-TimeAbout the Role:We are building a new on-demand service platform, launching with Chef on Demand, Maid on Demand, and Driver on Demand—similar to Urban Company. We are looking for a highly motivated Category Lead to take full ownership of launching and scalingthese categories. This is a high-impact, hands-on role suited for someone ready to work on the ground, manage operations, hire service partners, and lead customer acquisition initiatives.Key Responsibilities:∙Build Categories from Scratch: Set up operations, define service offerings,pricing, SOPs, and quality benchmarks for chef, maid, and driver services.∙Data Mining & Market Research: Analyze customer behavior, pricing trends, andsupply-demand gaps to create actionable strategies.∙On-Ground Execution: Conduct field visits, gather feedback, and ensure smoothservice delivery with real-time insights.∙Service Partner Hiring: Recruit skilled and verified service professionals andensure their onboarding, training, and performance management.∙Customer Acquisition: Design and execute acquisition strategies through digital,referral, and BTL channels.∙ATL & BTL Marketing: Collaborate with marketing teams for campaigns, localactivations, and brand visibility.∙Excel Reporting: Use Excel for performance tracking, supply funnel analysis,customer insights, and operations planning.Qualifications:∙Graduates with relevant experience in category building, operations, or businessdevelopment.∙Fresh MBA graduates with specialization in Marketing, Business Strategy, orOperations are welcome to apply.∙Strong communication, execution skills, and field-readiness are must-haves.∙Hands-on proficiency in MS Excel is required.∙Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive performance independently.Compensation Structure:∙Fixed Salary – Monthly base pay.∙Monthly Incentives – Based on service partner onboarding, category growth, andcustomer acquisition.∙Performance Bonuses – Quarterly / Half-Yearly / Yearly bonuses based onachievement of business KPIs.
