As the Location Analytics Manager, you will be responsible to perform in-season and pre-season analyses that measure the productivity of stores, identify potential gaps in execution, highlight regional or segment commonalities and help shape thinking around how to group stores for planning purposes beyond volume-based clusters.Responsibilities
  • Analyze store-level performance metrics, such as sales, inventory turnover, and customer demographics, to identify opportunities for range, assortment improvement and optimization based on cluster performance.
  • Utilize geospatial analysis techniques to evaluate local market dynamics, including demographic trends, competitor locations, and customer behavior, to inform assortment planning decisions.
  • Develop and maintain models and algorithms to support assortment planning, allocation, and optimization based on data-driven insights and market demand.
  • Provide strategic recommendations and actionable insights to support assortment planning decisions, including product selection, pricing, and promotional strategies.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to understand industry trends, customer preferences, and best practices in assortment planning.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external vendors, consultants, and industry partners to access relevant data sources and expertise.
  • Manages, maintains, reviews, and improves the SLAs, critical metrics and other Business and Customer Metrics in line with our business strategies.
  • Ensure team is trained on all corporate/process and skill-based trainings and knowledge retention and improvement in the team
  • Pro-actively identify the issues or client needs and act
  • Lead the monthly governance meeting with the clients, process leader and maintains a strong client relationship with the key stakeholders
  • Drive continuous improvement, Process optimization, implement process standardization, simplification, and automation to enable efficient and effective delivery of Location analytics capabilities.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Members aimed at delivering highly productive processes and programs.
  • Performance management: To observe, assess & record Team member performance on key metrics and leverage this data for pay & hike recommendations.
Tools and Technology
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R, Power BI)
  • Proficiency in GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS, QGIS) and spatial analysis tools.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's /Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Prior Location analytics/Retail analytics/Assortment planning and Analytics/Retail Operations experience/ Cluster based planning
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
  • Proven track record of successfully leading analytical teams and driving impactful business outcomes through data-driven insights.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex spatial and retail data sets.
  • Experience with statistical analysis techniques, data visualization tools, and assortment planning software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to execute and follow through on high-quality output, with limited oversight.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities and driving results under tight deadlines.
  • Ability to learn new systems quickly and leverage systems and information to influence others
  • Knowledge of retail industry trends and best practices
