Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager - Space planning (Floor Planning) Analytics (Retail) In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing category and product spacing and placement within retail stores, using analytical and creative skills to ensure right allocation of space and flow of merchandise. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing data, and implementing strategies to maximize the use of physical retail spaces. Responsibilities . Accountable for ensuring accurate implementation of Space planning strategies and activities carried out by the team. . Ensuring right space allocations to maintain right flows and adjacencies . Ensure compliance with the established internal control procedures . Manages, maintains, reviews, and improves the SLAs, critical metrics and other Business and Customer Metrics in line with our business strategies. . Ensure team is trained on all corporate/process and skill-based trainings and knowledge retention and improvement in the team . Review the SOP Documentation and content creation/improvement. . Pro-actively identify the issues or client needs and act . Lead the monthly governance meeting with the clients, process leader and maintains a strong client relationship with the key stakeholders . Define Roles and Responsibilities for each role within Operations together with goals and objectives. . Drive continuous improvement, Process optimization, implement process standardization, simplification, and automation to enable efficient and effective delivery of Space planning capabilities. . Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of team initiatives with overall business strategies. . Lead, coach, and develop a team of Members aimed at delivering highly productive processes and programs. . Performance management: To observe, assess & record Team member performance on key metrics and leverage this data for pay & hike recommendations. . Succession planning: To identify, plan & activate back-ups in cases of Team member movement, attrition etc. via timely training & coaching. . Staffing & hiring: To understand job & skill requirements & conduct timely hiring to staff the team to manage expected outcomes. . Maintain attrition at the lowest level as per corporate target and proactively plan & execute people movement during high volume or attrition. . Leads and supports the operations and governance inclusive of people, process, policies and oversees systems maintenance. Tools and Technology - Space Planning Software: . JDA/Blue Yonder Space Planning/ Relex Solutions/Nexgen/ Dotactiv/ Apollo Retail or any other industry specific space planning tools Data Analytics and Visualization: . Microsoft Excel, Tableau, Power BI Qualifications we seek in you! Minimum Qualifications . Bachelor&rsquos or Master&rsquos in Retail/Operations Management/B.Arch/BE Civil/Interior designing. . Prior retail/Space planning/ Operations experience Preferred Qualifications/ Skills . Self-directed focus and ability to prioritize within an ambiguous environment. . Ability to execute and follow through on high-quality output, with limited oversight. . Exceptional analytical & problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to make data-backed decisions . Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment . Ability to execute and follow through on high-quality output . Ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence/rally/align them towards a common org/business goal. . Strong verbal & written communication skills. . People management experience . Ability to balance priorities across multiple internal and external stakeholders .
