We use the latest technology to deliver best-in-class experiences to our customers.Job DescriptionLead Engineer Mobile (Android)What the role is all about:We're seeking a Lead Engineer - Mobile (6-9 years experience), who will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of REA's cutting-edge products. You will be working collaboratively with our product and technical team members to help deliver and support REAs real estate mobile application products.This is your chance to work on impactful projects that drive customer satisfaction and company growth. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies alongside talented individuals from diverse backgrounds, fostering a dynamic and collaborative environment.While no two days are likely to be the same, your typical responsibilities will include:

Use your passion for mobile development to aid in enabling a platform-appropriate, seamless and human-centered experience for their users.
Collaborate closely with a supportive team, communicating clearly and effectively.
Learn and adopt clean and reusable code best practices like writing clean and reusable code using TDD, pair programming, and design patterns.
Take part in exciting Android projects, developing and optimizing features that deliver exceptional user experiences and help us stay ahead of the curve in mobile development.
Take ownership and accountability of individual deliverables.

Who were looking for:

6-9 years of experience in Android development with proficiency in Kotlin, Java, Jetpack Compose and object-oriented programming principles.
Good knowledge of TDD, Docker, CI/CD approaches and tools.
Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with global teams.
Excellent knowledge of software development principles and best practices.
Someone who approaches problems with a solutions-oriented mindset and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
A lifelong learner, someone who is eager to stay updated on the latest web development trends.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools.

Bonus Points for:

Knowledge of native mobile or web development with Node JS, React, Swift, or Objective-C
Understanding around AWS, HTML/CSS, GraphQL, BFFs or experience APIs
