- Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including Billing, Accounts Receivable (A/R), Accounts Payable (A/P), General Ledger (GL), Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
- Oversee the execution of day-to-day financial transactions to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Develop, document, and enforce accounting policies, SOPs, and internal control mechanisms to safeguard company assets and maintain data integrity.
- Streamline and improve accounting systems, processes, and controls for better efficiency and effectiveness.
- Lead the month-end and year-end financial close process.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Provide detailed financial reports and MIS dashboards for internal stakeholders and management.
- Analyse financial data to monitor expenditures, assess performance, and forecast revenues.
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes in alignment with strategic goals.
- Support decision-making through data-driven financial modelling and scenario planning.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and central government regulations, including direct and indirect taxation.
- Manage all statutory reporting, tax filings, and regulatory submissions.
- Coordinate internal, statutory, and external audits; ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
- Research and apply technical accounting standards (e.g., IND AS, IFRS) to ensure compliance and mitigate accounting risks.
- Evaluate financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Formulate and execute financial strategies that align with the company's long-term goals.
- Manage capital structure, including handling of private equity, ECB loans, NCDs, and international financing sources.
- Provide strategic inputs for investment decisions, cost optimization, and capital allocation.
- Lead the Finance, Accounts, MIS, and Taxation functions, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and ensure alignment of financial goals.
- Take on additional controllership responsibilities as required by business needs.
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience post qualification
