Position: General Manager – Account & FinanceLocation:SilvassaExperience:14 - 20 YearsIndustries:PolymerKey Responsibilities:
  • Financial Management & Reporting:
  • Develop and oversee financial strategies, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss statements, MIS reports.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support decision - making.
  • Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and ledger reconciliations.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting:
  • Lead the preparation and monitoring of budgets and financial projections.
  • Conduct variance analysis and recommend corrective actions.
  • Evaluate cost-saving measures and optimize financial resources.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
  • Ensure adherence to financial regulations, tax laws, statutory filings and corporate policies.
  • Oversee internal and external audits and implement recommendations.
  • Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure cost control and cost reduction strategic.
  • System and SOP development.
  • Cash Flow & Treasury Management:
  • Monitor cash flow, fund flow and ensure efficient fund management.
  • Optimize working capital and oversee banking relationships.
  • Manage investments and financial instruments as per company policies.
  • Leadership & Team Management:
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounts team.
  • Establish KPIs for the team and monitor performance.
  • Foster collaboration between finance and other departments.
Required skills:
  • Strategic financial planning & execution.

  • Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), taxation, and compliance.
  • Experience in financial planning, risk management, and investment strategies.
  • Proficiency in ERP/accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
