As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by investigating and resolving issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to monitoring system performance, diagnosing problems, and ensuring smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands collaboration with different teams to maintain system stability and deliver timely solutions that support business continuity and efficiency.Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and troubleshoot complex system issues.
- Document findings and resolutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist in the implementation of system updates and patches to enhance performance and security.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on technical challenges.Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Java Enterprise Edition.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and resolve software issues efficiently.
- Experience in monitoring and maintaining enterprise-level applications to ensure high availability.
- Familiarity with debugging tools and techniques to identify root causes of system failures.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate technical information clearly.
- Understanding of software development life cycle and application support best practices.Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Java Enterprise Edition.
