- Ensure the delivery of the complete project scope within agreed timelines.
- Monitor project quantities and maintain alignment with budgeted figures.
- Support efforts to generate increased project revenue and gross margin.
- Assist in optimizing net working capital and maintaining positive cash flow.
- Mitigate technical and commercial risks.
- Promote team collaboration and positive energy.
- Manage complete lifecycle of Thermal Oxidizer projects from order handover to commissioning.
- Act as the single point of coordination between internal departments (engineering, procurement, production, QA/QC) and external stakeholders (clients, vendors).
- Track project progress against schedules and ensure adherence to milestones and deliverables.
- Review and interpret P&IDs, GA drawings, datasheets, and specifications.
- Ensure engineering deliverables align with process requirements and contractual scope.
- Support design validation for fired equipment, burners, combustion systems, and auxiliary packages.
- Coordinate with procurement teams for timely sourcing of critical equipment (blowers, burners, valves, refractory, instrumentation, etc.).
- Monitor vendor performance, manufacturing progress, and inspection schedules.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and project specifications.
- Interface with fabrication teams for pressure vessels, ducting, stacks, and skid-mounted systems.
- Ensure adherence to codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.) where applicable.
- Track production schedules and resolve technical issues during fabrication.
- Ensure all activities comply with project QA/QC plans and safety standards.
- Coordinate inspections, FAT (Factory Acceptance Tests), and documentation.
- Provide support during installation, commissioning, and performance testing of Thermal Oxidizers.
- Coordinate with site teams to resolve technical and operational challenges.
- Participate in client meetings, progress reviews, and technical discussions.
- Address client queries and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Strong understanding of:
- Combustion systems and fired equipment design concepts preferred.
- Process engineering fundamentals (for chemical background candidates)
- Mechanical systems (for mechanical background candidates)
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and process documents
- Project management skills with focus on planning, scheduling, and coordination
- Knowledge of industry codes and standards (ASME, API, NFPA preferred)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Prior experience with Thermal Oxidizer packages or pollution control systems
- Exposure to skid-based systems and modular equipment
- Experience in multi-disciplinary project environments
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
- 8 to 15 years of experience in:
- Thermal Oxidizers / Incinerators / Fired Equipment
- Process Equipment / Heavy Engineering projects
- Oil & Gas / Petrochemical / EPC environment
