This leadership role is responsible for overseeing and integrating key finance functions across Commercials, Balance Sheet & Controls, CoA, and Cadency teams within the ARC tower. The Vice President will drive strategic initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, financial accuracy, and compliance across Vodafone's shared services.Who you areKey Responsibilities1. Strategic Leadership & Initiatives
Drive strategic initiatives to optimize finance operations and align with organizational goals.
Lead high-impact programs that support long-term financial planning and business growth.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategic changes and improve service delivery.2. Commercial Governance & Financial Planning
Oversee FP&A activities including AOP, forecasts, and long-range planning for ARC service towers.
Drive commercial rigor through internal pricing strategies, PQ rate card governance, and profitability analysis.
Ensure cost transparency and alignment with SLAs, KPIs, and internal chargeback mechanisms.3. Balance Sheet & Controls Oversight
Govern financial frameworks including chart of accounts, month-end closing, HFM consolidation, and cash flow analysis.
Monitor KPI data, aged balances, QA observations, and R2R initiatives to ensure financial health and compliance.
Lead incident resolution and certification processes across BS & Controls domains.4. Workforce & Cost Centre Management
Own FTE cost modelling across VOIS locations, integrating actuals, forecasts, and productivity metrics.
Align headcount budgets with strategic priorities and optimize workforce mix and location strategy.
Govern CC/PC structures for budgeting, cost allocation, and performance tracking.5. ARC Operations & Team Leadership
Provide strategic direction to the CoA and Cadency teams, ensuring operational excellence and compliance.
Mentor and guide Senior Manager - Commercials and Junior F Band roles, fostering leadership development and collaboration.
Drive stakeholder engagement across Group Finance, Service Tower Leads, and Strategic Planning teams.Skills & QualificationsMust-Have
- Chartered Accountant (CA) with 15-20 years of experience in finance leadership roles.
- Proven expertise in FP&A, commercial finance, and financial controls.
- Strong understanding of telecom shared services and global finance operations.
- Experience in managing large teams and cross-functional collaboration.
- Exposure to strategic programs, automation, and digital finance tools (e.g., Power BI, Anaplan, Tableau).
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and strategic thinking skills.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred) and financial reporting platforms.
