- Master/Bachelor’s degree in architectural or civil engineering and 8+ years’ experience in AEC industry, minimum 3 years’ experience in Middle East region.
- 5+ years’ experience in digital delivery of complex, multidisciplinary project (Information Management/BIM).
- Information Management certification by a relevant institution e.g. BRE, Operam Academy, RICS etc.
- Software certification such as Revit, Civil3D etc. is desirable.
- A thorough understanding of the data, information management and BIM including compliance to ISO 19650 standards.
- Sound knowledge in engineering design and to assist design team in Self/Inter disciplinary services coordination, quality compliance etc.
- Expert knowledge of BIM authoring tools from various software providers such as Autodesk, Bentley in delivery of multi-disciplinary projects.
- Expert knowledge of BIM federation and co-ordination platforms such as Navisworks, BIM Track for performing tasks like clash detection and resolution, model walkthrough and issue tracking and management.
- Expert knowledge of Common Data Environment (CDE) such as BIM360 and ProjectWise.
- Knowledge of data visualization platforms such as PowerBI.
- Knowledge of automation tools such as Dynamo.
- Experience on information management/BIM uses such as construction sequencing, quantity take-offs, virtual reality, augmented reality etc.
- Strong ability to develop technical documentation for Information Management.
- Experienced in implementation, training and utilization of Information Management tools from Autodesk, Bentley, Trimble etc.
- Effective communication, coordination and collaboration skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- As an Information Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our digital content is produced, stored, shared and exploited using the latest technologies and practices as agreed by the business.
- Develop Information Management documents e.g. Pre- and Post-BEP, federation strategy, Level of Information Need, responsibility matrix etc.
- Ensure internal and external capability and capacity processes are implemented and followed.
- Administer Atkins’ MIDP Online Tool.
- Administer Atkins’ CDE (BIM 360 and ACC) and support project team in utilization of CDE.
- Perform multidisciplinary clash detection, identification, grouping and support in assignment and resolution of clashes.
- Undertake the functions of effective information management as part of the team in accordance to ISO 19650 throughout our projects' lifecycles, where AtkinsRéalis are either the Lead Appointed Party or an Appointed Party.
- Ensure that the following are properly implemented and applied by the delivery team:
- BIM execution plan.
- Information Exchange Processes.
- Self-disciplinary co-ordination workflows including clash matrixes.
- Check and review processes (both technical and quality) for deliverables utilizing digital tools.
- File naming convention for deliverables and process for updating status and revision codes in compliance with ISO 19650.
- LOD / LOI to be generated in BIM Models across stages in the project lifecycle.
- Support auditing task teams in the delivery of their Task Information Delivery Plans, to meet the Appointing Parties Requirements.
- Support strategic global and regional digital initiatives.
- Support/lead ISO certification and its continuance globally for Atkins.
- Support Digital Lead regarding all required tasks.
- Provide technical advice on software and technology involved in the delivery of projects to the BIM processes and workflows.
