Together, we are building a better world, so we can all enjoy living in it.Job Purpose:Compatibility Manager is responsible for leading a team of compatibility engineers around the globe and is accountable for SAP variant configurations and variant super BOMs. This role will assume responsibility of variant configuration tasks with a high impact on multiple brands and market segments, and various facilities on multiple systems.Job Duties:Key areas of responsibility encountered in this role may include the following:

Leading a team of compatibility engineers who are responsible for collaborating with the other cross functions in creation and maintenance of SAP variant configuration, variant super BOMs, executing order quality review and their associated metrics monitoring and reporting.
Building a collaborative environment to meet the cross functional team’s needs, driving process improvements to add value and enhance efficiency and, owning the process quality gates to ensure rigorous process and product quality.
Contributing to the PC&DM team’s vision and alignment with REPS Engineering priorities.
Collaborating with global engineering, product definition and other cross-functional teams to determine product offerings and their compatibility rules during New Product Introduction (NPI), Standard & Design to Order (DTO) products.
Developing standard processes and techniques to ensure that Product Models and Variant Configurations are being created using the same methodology, which will aid NPI and engineering change velocity and improve product lifecycle quality.
Active participation in NPI, engineering change and other projects to offer knowledge and expert advice and to commit to VC and BOM task durations.
Providing rapid resolution of production critical and dealer-facing issues and thorough root cause analysis to ensure permanent corrective actions are in place.

Top Candidates Will Have

A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of relevant Experience(SAP VC).
Hands-on technical experience in ERP systems and SAP variant configuration, bills of material and material masters. Variant Configuration experience of genset, engine or similar automobile/machine products is desired.
Demonstrated technical and people leadership attributes in their current role.
Strong communication, emotional intelligence, listening, and collaboration skills.
