- Identify and research potential new business opportunities, including new markets, growth areas, partnerships, and clients.
- Generate and qualify leads to build a robust sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, and strategic outreach.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Understand client needs and requirements to prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profitability while ensuring client satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, such as marketing and technical departments, to ensure a cohesive approach to business growth.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market activities, and competitor analysis to inform business strategy.
- Proven experience in a business development, sales, or a similar client-facing role.
- Experience within the technology, software, or IT services industry is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex solutions clearly and persuasively.
- A self-motivated and results-driven mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
