  • To strengthen the Industrial segment, the company wishes to appoint a Plant Director to lead Industrial Air Filter Operations & Supply Chain in India.
  • Key responsibilities include End to end responsibility of P&L Operations, Project Management, Assembly, Planning, Production, Quality, On-time delivery, Cost control, Localization to achieve customer satisfaction and to support rapidly growing business in India.
Specific Responsibilities
  • Fulfil the key leadership role for the plant, facilitating the development and deployment of growth strategy,
  • Maintain and improve operational performance of the plant in financial and operational terms
  • Develop and deploy processes and policies aligned to strategy and/or as prescribed by Corporate teams, all in sync with local legislation.
  • Improve the health & safety culture within our facility.
  • Maintain an excellent level of customer service (on time deliveries, Lead time, communication)
  • Improve productivity and strive for operational excellence.
  • Maintain inventory levels appropriate to plant volumes
  • Overall responsibility includes leading Operations in India through medium / large and capable subcontractors located in various parts of India. This is end to end responsibility that includes - managing subcontractors, Project Management, Ensuring Quality, On Time Delivery, Cost control, Localization and optimization. Coordinate all the cross functional team and resources to support the Business growth in India. Lead the transfer and localization effort, manage and coordinate the international purchasing parts / product delivery and project Manage the local customization, fabrication, painting and final assembly with sub-contractors. Controls and manages product/subcontract projects to assure they meet strategic objectives while managing impact on affected customers, entities, plants and departments.
  • Product transfer - Lead Product Engineer, PPC and subcontractor for new product transfer/APD process, trial and mass production in subcontractor site. Training and develop subcontractor better understand product spec. Coordinate material preparation per project need. Support on fixture design, process standardization, workmanship and project related documents preparation.
  • Quality Control - Responsible for Improving the quality level of our products at optimum cost. Working and lead Quality Team for manage customized project quality control in subcontractor site to meet with quality standard. Build quality standard, inspection check list, in-process quality control, quality control plan.
  • Lead Time - Responsible for project leadership to define, plan, organize and manage assigned projects management.
  • Cost Control - To manage overall cost control from order taking to shipping. Identifies, maintains and controls project related planned costs.
  • Gathers and analyzes information for decision making and actions related to assigned projects.
  • Leads and improvs processes and procedures for projects related progress as for quality/lead time as part of a cross functional team. Supports the point of manufacture process through data analysis and develops procedures surrounding the decision-making criteria. Understands and uses fundamentals of strategic planning, Initiates and integrates ideas in novel ways.
  • Performance Management system: Setting goals for teams and communicating individual responsibilities to achieve the goals. Delegates and directs the work of others across project related entities, plants, suppliers/vendors and departments. Possess strong leadership capabilities and ability to manage upward and downward relationship in Organization.
Leadership role to head the manufacturing operations with P&L responsibility|Excellent growth trajectory & work with in a high visibility Global role.Technical Competence & Skills and Relevant experience:
  • Sound technical knowhow / knowledge of Fabrication, Welding and Painting process, Quality and Assembly. Experience and expertise in this area.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills,
  • Thorough working knowledge of the industries (suppliers, customers, sources of income, behaviors, expectations, etc.)
  • Demonstrated project management or project engineering leadership experience in complex and strategic programs in a manufacturing and distribution company.

  • At least 18-20+ years leadership experience in a manufacturing role within an international company
