Responsibilities & Key DeliverablesUnderstanding of Vehicle proprietary parts (Mainly Suspensions, Steering, Front Axle,Brake) Knowledge of Vehicle system parts supplier/process for above mentioned systems * Study & Analysis of SOR/ Drawings for vehicle proprietary components.

Knowledge of selection of ideal manufacturing processes based on drawing/Tolerances.
Knowledge of cycle time estimation / Most techniques
Cost Estimation for proprietary parts from drawing.
Component Cost Benchmarking.
Knowledge of target Costing / Business perspective.
Coordination with various agencies (Design/Product Planning / Sourcing)
Knowledge of VAVE
Cost Reduction & Cost Improvements in vehicle proprietary components.
Knowledge of preparing BOM for proprietary parts.
Standiazation of child parts.
