- Configure and implement Duck Creek Policy solutions, including product models, forms, rules, rating, and workflows.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into system configurations.
- Participate in solution design discussions, providing input on best practices and technical approaches.
- Develop and maintain configuration documentation, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
- Conduct unit testing and support integration and user acceptance testing.
- Work with architects and developers to integrate Duck Creek Policy with external systems and services.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide production support as needed.
- Mentor junior team members and share knowledge of Duck Creek Policy capabilities and configuration practices.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and project timelines.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Duck Creek Policy configuration.
- Strong expertise in Duck Creek tools such as Author, Tools, Skins, Forms, Rating, and Product Studio.
- Experience configuring policy administration functions including rating, rules, forms, and workflows.
- Solid understanding of insurance domain processes (P&C) across multiple lines of business.
- Familiarity with integrations using XML, SOAP/REST APIs, and messaging services.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and provide effective configuration solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in Agile project environments.
- Prior experience mentoring or leading junior consultants is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
