- Responsible for Day to day accounting work including purchase and sale entries, petty cash handling,
- Ensuring the processes and documentation are compliant with various statutory audit needs (for eg.
- Finalization of balance sheet, income and expenditures, receipts and payments.
- Experience of financial reporting and technical accounting experience in US GAAP.
- Daily maintenance and updating of budget MIS
- Preparing utilization statements and keeping track record of debit and credit transactions
- Maintaining documentation for expenditure verification and audits as per project and internal
- Coordinating with CA and auditors as required for project audits and external audits if any.
- Serving as the main point of contact for all financial audits
- Coordinating with implementing teams and the Board of Trustees for accounting and finance related
- Work allocation and management of the accounts team
- Preparing and sharing periodic updates on the finances of the organization to the Board
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures
- Any other accounting related work assigned by the Management.
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years related experience.
- Proficient in Excel, Tally ERP-9 & QuickBooks
- Enthusiasm to take up challenges and lead from the front.
