Join Western Union as Solution Architect, Solution Engineering.Western Union powers your pursuit.As Solution Architect KYC, you will be part of our product engineering team and contribute towards the new API’s development for Enterprise level initiative in Compliance orchestration platform, which is important for expanding our existing product capabilities, improving customer experience and accelerating the launch of new products and services. You would play a key role in designing and building scalable, high-performance APIs that drive innovation and efficiency across our KYC and Compliance ecosystem. You would be performing below -Role Responsibilities

Design and develop robust, scalable and secure APIs for the KYC and Compliance platform.
Design and develop API solutions that integrate with internal and third-party systems.
Ensure API security best practices, authentication and compliance with industry standards.
Review the existing APIs and recommend improvements that align with industry standards.
Emphasize customer journey, product quality, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and continuous development.
Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure code quality across the team.
Debug and resolve technical issues, performing root cause analysis, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and implementing long term fixes.
Mentor Developers in the team while fostering a collaborative team environment.
Collaborate with stakeholders, across Product and Technology, to define and deliver technical solutions.

Role Requirements

Strong Software development experience with focus on API development and microservices architectures.
8+ years of software development experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST API, Sprint Batch, Core Java.
Good understanding of RDBMS like MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
Good understanding of Microservices and Event driven architecture.
Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace and AWS CloudWatch.
Experience in designing and developing high performance APIs
Experience in developing and deploying applications in AWS Cloud
Excellent understanding of Data Structures, Design Patterns, algorithms, OOPS concepts
Experience in implementing DevOps and exposure to all DevOps areas like Source Control, Continuous Integration, Infra Automation, Continuous Deployment
Experience with Kafka, Docker or Kubernetes will be a plus
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and diagnostic skills.
Hands-on experience integrating with KYC, Compliance, Vendor Integration in a Banking/Payment environment will be plus.
Strong communication skills with ability to interact with internal and external partners globally.
