• Production planning and execution: Planning daily tasks, prioritizing work, and assigning responsibilities based on skill levels and workload.

• Process monitoring and optimization: Monitoring plant performance indicators, implementing corrective actions, and optimizing production efficiency and quality standards.

• Equipment maintenance: Ensuring proper maintenance of plant equipment, including rotary kilns, coolers, and compressors.

• Quality control: Ensuring adherence to quality standards for DRI production.

• Safety and environment: Ensuring adherence to safety, environment, and health standards.

• Team leadership: Developing and motivating the team to achieve production goals.

• Troubleshooting and problem-solving: Addressing any operational issues and finding solutions to technical problems.

• Raw material handling: Overseeing the handling and processing of raw materials, including pellets and coal, used in the DRI process.
• Kiln operation: Monitoring and controlling the rotary kiln operation, including temperature, radiation, and accretion profile inside the kiln.
• Pollution control: Ensuring compliance with pollution control regulations.
• Shutdown maintenance: Ensuring proper shutdown maintenance is performed according to schedule.
• Modification of process parameters: Making adjustments to process parameters to optimize production.
• Housekeeping and coordination: Ensuring proper housekeeping and coordinating with workers.
